Continued 9-9-2026 A Ministering Message
I apologize. This is a new blog site for me. Still learning how to use it. For some reason the following was left off from the post that were opened on a phone. Seemed to load the full post on computers. I don't know.
sincere desire to know truth. The Lord promises,
“If ye shall seek me with all your heart,” He will let Himself be found (Jeremiah 29:13).
The Book of Mormon gives a similar invitation:
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (3 Nephi 13:33).
Is “the One” One Person or Many?
If you mean the person we are ultimately seeking, the scriptures point us to Jesus Christ. He declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). We seek Him, and through Him we come to the Father.
However, Christ also seeks individuals—many individuals, one by one. In the parable of the lost sheep, the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to find “that which is gone astray”
12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
(Matthew 18:12–14)
The Savior’s work is both universal and intensely personal. He seeks and saves many, but He knows and loves each person individually.
The Book of Mormon expresses this beautifully:
“He inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him” (2 Nephi 26:33).
So the answer is yes: you are included. You may seek Christ, and you may trust that He is also seeking you. As you continue studying the scriptures, watch for the ways the Lord invites, guides, corrects, and personally reassures you. Sharing those discoveries with others can help them recognize that they too are included in His invitation.
Again I invite you to following whatever promptings you may have to search the above and feast upon the "Words of Christ". In your own time and way as directed by the spirit to you heart and mind.
I (we) witness to each of you that God our Heavenly Father does live. Jesus the Christ has Risen and lives today. He is very aware of each of us. He suffered and Willingly took upon himself not only the sins, but every feeling, every pain, every doubt, every hurful comment, every violent act, every accident. He took upon himself every form of depression, psychotic events and human frailieties that have or ever will exist in short He took upn himself every experience of all mankind. He then Willingly allowed himself to be crucified. He could have taken Himself off the cross at any time. But, he was obedient and "drank the bitter cup" to fulfill our Heavenly Fathers plan. He then finished the infinite atonement.
He is the Christ! Our elder brother, Savior and Redeemer. He is our advocate with the Father. He is the head of this church and will soon return to this earth to rule and rein for eternity. As do each of you. We love him and seek to be filled with charity, to prove our willingness to take upon ourselves his name, and to seek always all the ones the Father puts in our paths.
Of these things we do witness in the name of Jesus Crist, Amen.
